Pagkat walang Fog Lamp

Pagkat alang foglamp ang Toyota Innova E, I've been wanting to buy a pair. Supposed to be I'll buy myself a Chuck all-stars, then I decided to get the fog lamp instead for the Innova. Price is P3200 a pair of lamp. I managed to haggle down to 3000.00. Again, I scored from Evangelista St. at Bangkal Makati, aka, the biggest auto center in the Philippines. A 4 lane city road converted to snail-pace 2-lane 2-way traffic because of the autoshops, surplus shops, tire stores, PUJs racing, "street tinters" and more. By the way, disclosure, most of the time, these fog lamps are useless. Just for the looks.

NISSAN ALL-NEW GLOBAL VAN - NV200 VANETTE

When I was younger, so much younger than today, I wanted Nissan's Vanette so much. Then the desire for that van faded. Proof that I really wanted to score a van, I eventually got the Toyota Innova van-wagon (pun intended). For Nissan fans, and van would be buyers... Nissan has this NV200 that carries the rich heritage of the Vanette. Hope that the new Nissan All-new Global Van will land in the Philippine shores someday soon. With 7 to 8 seating capacity, a wagon form, a claim for sedan like comfort & targeted for modern business use and a bigger family vehicle, looks like its a direct competitor of Toyota Innova to me. Toyota Innova Accessories: Session 3, Muffler End Pipe & Mud Guard

This is my 3rd trip to my favorite Toyota Innova Accessories supplier... (Session II Here.)

Originally, I was to buy a floor mat. One that I could roll-in if not in use and roll-out in case I'll load heavy, dirty, somewhat wet stuff inside the van.

But again, some of the basic Toyota Innova accessories are priced low, one would be really tempted to spice-up his/her ride. Isa na ko dun.

So after window shopping, after trying out a custom fit big mat, after testing speakers, after checking my future Innova spoiler, and canvassing for backing sensor, checking fake plate numbers, etc... I finally had mud guards and an end pipe for the muffler installed.

The mud guards come in black and in silver. I picked the silver of course. Price is P1100 then a little haggling and I got it @ P900.00. I really dunno if the mud guards look good but what I know is, the guards prevent tiny little asphalts from sticking onto the body. That's why I have the mud guards on. Anyway, if the users choose so, the mud guards are easily dettacheable.

I frequent SLEX and with that project beng built at a turtle speed, that highway should contain 75% of the worlds asphalt.


Second one is (I don't even know what it's called), the end pipe for mufflers. Orig price as the lady told me is P650.00. I asked for it to be P600 so that, I'll pay P1500 for the mud guards and this tail pipe, and she's ok with it.


And, I went there to by a floor mat, kaya bago ko malimutan, nakabili nga pala ako ng mat. P400 per yard. 6 feet wide.

Roof Rail & Side Visor for TOYOTA Innova

Just before the turn of the year, I sent our "Ilova" to the shop for a quick installation of a roof rail and side visor or rain guard. For Innova owners (especially the lower end variants), these are the first upgrades.

Toyota Otis lists the rain guard at P3000 plus & the roof rail at P8000 plus. I am pretty sure, those parts are of higer end quality and made in Japan. But to me, that's a little too much para sa accessories.

Near my place, the shops here sell the rain guard for only 800.00 a set. That's 4 pieces. And for the Roof Rails, it's only P1500. Really bargains. Less than P2500 or so for a quick Innova pimpin. Though not casa supplied, looks good enough (for me).

BTW, roof rail doesn't bring anything to the table, err to the roof. In fact, this could just add drag. Kaya lang ata naglalagay ng roof rail is for luggage tray. Since, I will not put roof tray on top, it means, this roof rail is just for form. Sa tagalog, porma.

Lemme add too that, to install a non-CASA supplied roof rail, the installers need to drill a hole to where the roof rail shall be screwed. Another red flag for those who intend to put roof rail.

Next up, we'd like to have the back spoiler and the back mirror. Money, give me some money.

Toyota Avanza, 0 to 175 KPH

Oh by the way, that's 0 to 175 kph in 2 minutes! Not 10 secs.

And this one, Honda Hatch and Ferrari. Is this real life or fake? Reminds me of the Italian Job car chase.
